Super excited for another season of NWA Youth Sports Football to start! My boys, 3rd grade and 1st grade, both played last fall and LOVED it. Well, my 3rd grader LOVED it and my 1st grader wasn't quite as excited. NWA Youth Sports is an organization working on providing a teaching football league for area kids. Here's some details/ information from the league:
- Teams are grouped by: K-1st, 2nd - 3rd, 4th - 5th, and 6th - 7th.
- The cost is $70.00. We furnish helmet, shoulder pads, and shirt.
- We teach basic fundamentals and teamwork, as well as good sportsmanship.
- Spring sign-ups start Feb. 25, 2012 at the Jones Center in Springdale in room 217 from 11 to 4 till Spring break.
- Practices are on every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30pm in your area: Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, and surrounding areas.
- Practices start Tuesday, March 20th (week of Spring Break)
- Fall sign-ups Start July 21, 2012.
