Hi! My name is Nicole, but most people call me Nikki. I absolutely LOVE taking pictures. Sometimes, it's just what the doctor ordered and rejuvenates me. I have a degree in electrical engineering; however, eight years ago I left corporate America when I gave birth to my first child. Through the years, I've enjoyed taking pictures of all three of my kids. When my daughter was born in 2006, I got my first DSLR camera. Slowly, I taught myself how to use it and challenged myself to use it in manual mode exclusively. Now four years later, I've been blessed to discover this God given passion inside of me to capture moments for people. Photography is such a complicated realm that connects both art & science. I think this is one of the reasons why I'm so excited about it... my engineering background can engage with my creative side.
My style is "conservatively eclectic"... basically where traditional and candid meet with a twist of fun and pizazz and a little bit of this and a little bit of that! I marvel at fellow photographers' pictures and observe them for inspiration, but I usually have my own take on each subject. I want my photography to encourage my clients and leave lasting memories for their families.
